Gina Khan is an expert, award winning & highly experienced Colorist. She has been coloring hair for 35 plus years! and is well known color educator who travels nationally to educate & inspire Salon Teams to be their best! Most recently, Gina Khan was invited to help develop & test a brand new high performance, innovative, color brand for R+COLOUR.
Gina has now taken on a new role as the Brand Ambassador for R+COLOUR. She continues her passion of advanced education for Salon Professionals. Gina continues to work behind the chair, coloring her beautiful clients which is her favorite time at Salon Nine in San Francisco!
Gina is also available for complimentary consultations and welcomes any new clients to her chair!
Caroline has mentored Yoshimitsu Toya as a stylist at Yosh for Hair. She has been in the industry for over 30 plus years and is our Master Designer. Caroline is very experienced, talented and a dedicated stylist to her clients. She also specializes in perms and re-texturizing (smoothing) hair chemically. She has a wonderful team spirit, is a great listener & is proud of the many long term relationships she has built with her clients! You will always leave feeling & looking good with a lesson on taking care of your hair at home with Carolne.
Lisa is our “Master Colorist”. She has been in the industry specializing in hair color for the last 20 plus years. Her gifted talent is revealed through color placements in highlights, color tones and superior gray coverage. She began her profession assisting the Global Award Winning Colorist, and her Mentor, Gina Khan. Throughout the years, her tenure exceeds through education and experience. Lisa has been sharing her knowledge as a teacher for the apprenticeship program for the past 10 years!
Lisa also enjoys many aspects of her career with current looks in fashion trends as well building great relationships with friends and all of her clients. She is amazing, and is ready to make you look your absolute best!
A San Francisco Native. With 20 plus years of experience, Sandy found her way of expressing beauty through her passion for ART. Her craft for creating beauty evolves through her vision within her consultation. Sandy creates looks from classy to edgy.

Sandy is well respected and has built great relationships through teaching her craft to hair stylists for over 10 years! Mia has an extreme talent and her work speaks for itself! Specializing in precision cutting for the last 20 plus years, she has created an A+ list of clients who adores and values her creativity for beautiful hair. Starting her journey with assisting her Mentor, Yoshimitsu Toya, she has been sharing her knowledge and passion as an instructor for the apprenticeship program.

Chelsea began her career as a Color Specialist at Gina Khan Salon in 2006. She has been with our Team for 17 plus years! Chelsea travels around the US as a Master Colorist and Educator to teach hair color and also attends educational classes, taking every opportunity to learn and to further master her craft. She is extremely talented and passionate about hair and a true inspiration to the entire Team! The quality, detailed nature of her work and the care that she takes with each individual client is rare and unique.

Melinda is a "one of a kind", talented Artistic Designer in our Salon. She has been with us for 17 plus years and continues to grow her passion for the industry. She has attended many classes and has extended her knowledge through her innovative cuts. Passionate about hair and beauty, Hanabi is Salon Nine’s Artistic Designer. In her 15 plus years of experience, Hanabi has mastered a wide range of style techniques including cutting, hair extensions, and re texturizing (smoothing) hair chemically. . Hanabi enjoys listening to her clients, understanding their needs, and giving them the look they want. She always stays updated on all the latest trends and is also knowledgeable of new products and services available. Come see Hanabi and leave feeling brand new and rejuvenated! Hanabi resides in San Francisco and enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and culinary experiences.
With 20 plus years of experience as a stylist, Mari began her career in San Francisco under Yosh Toya’s tutelage at Yosh for Hair Salon on Maiden Lane. During her 12-year tenure there, she became a Master Stylist, platform artist and an educator for training new stylists.
Furthering her career, Mari moved to New York City where she worked at Mark Garrison Salon in the heart of 5th Avenue and Rodney Cutler of the Cutler Salon in Soho. As a stylist, she assisted on editorial shoots and styled hair for New York Fashion Week, including Ford Models and Wilhelmina.
Returning to her roots at Salon Nine in San Francisco on Maiden Lane, Mari continues to follow her passion and creativity in razor and precision cutting, while also utilizing her barbering skills.
Born and raised in San Francisco, With 10 plus years of experience, Vivian has established a growing clientele through her great sense of style and unique eye for color. She specializes in Balayage and Creative Color placements ranging from different shades of eccentric colors to natural, glamorous looks! Her personality and great customer care builds wonderful relationships with her clients and team members.
